The Meat - the Most Important Reason
The meat is the most important part of a hamburger paragraph or essay. A common mistake of people writing academic essays is they start out with a position and come up with only one good reason for their position.
The key is to think of three reasons. To keep people reading, you want to build to your strongest reason, result, cause, solution, observation, or argument. Readers will appreciate that you've saved the best for last.
Your brain, however, probably thinks of the most important idea first. Because of that, be sure to move the most important reason to the end.
So now your paragraph or essay is finished. Right? Wrong. You cannot have a hamburger without a bottom bun, and you cannot have a paragraph or essay without a concluding sentence.
So let's move on to the bottom bun.
