Outline: Extended Argument Essay

What is an argument essay?

With this paragraph, you need to take a stand asserting that
people should or should not do something.

You need to use sources, facts, figures, statistics and references

You will need to use reporting verbs
when you refer to an article or a source. The extended argument essay includes two elements of each reason. For instance, if you are writing about the food in New York, the first part might be street food and the second part might be international restaurants in placed like Little Italy or Chinatown.


For this outline, reduce each argument to one key word if possible
